The More I Try to Escape, the More Empress Catherine Wants Me to Stay

Good news: I transmigrated! Bad news: I freaking became Paul I! My mother is Catherine the Great, and my son is Alexander I. And somehow, I ended up as the doomed Paul! Historically, after constantly defying Catherine the Great, he became tsar of Russia, only to be killed in a coup led by his son. To change my fate, I have to escape! When I tried to flee, I discovered I could summon figures from Chinese history to help me find a way to change my cruel fate. Just as I was about to leave Russia, Catherine the Great stopped me and demanded that I inherit the throne. Historically, Catherine the Great never named an heir because her two sons were hopeless. She bypassed her son and chose her grandson, Alexander I, to succeed her. But I couldn’t understand why Catherine the Great had chosen me to inherit the throne! And the more I tried to escape, the more she wanted me to stay and become crown prince! But I didn’t want to! Years later, shortly before her death, Catherine the Great told me, now the heir to the throne, a huge secret. She could actually simulate other people’s futures! Only later did I learn why Catherine the Great wanted me to inherit the throne. She had already seen my future!
