The Insect Swarm

One day, without warning, Earth was overrun by countless terrifying insects.

At first, people thought it was just an ordinary infestation. The bugs were disgusting, but they didn't cause any damage.

As time passed, however, people discovered in horror that the insects had begun devouring everything, including human beings.

More and more people became food for the insects. Humanity began to fight back, but human strength was ultimately insignificant.

Even more despairing, every army in the world vanished as soon as the insects began attacking humanity. With no armies and no heavy firepower, only ordinary people remained to resist as best they could.

Collapsed skyscrapers, ruined cities, rubble and devastation as far as the eye could see.

The few humans left in the world continued their final struggle.

Would they give up resisting, or fight with everything they had to protect the last glimmer of hope?

What would become of life and civilization on Earth?
