Sun Wukong is bestowed the title Victorious Fighting Buddha at Spirit Mountain. He then returns to Five Elements Mountain and makes it his place of cultivation.
Later, Five Elements Mountain is renamed Two Boundaries Mountain.
One day, however, two little wolf-headed demons arrive at Two Boundaries Mountain, demanding an explanation from Sun Wukong.
They are the two little demons Sun Wukong killed at Leopard Head Mountain in Yuhua Prefecture. Yet they insist they never did anything wrong, never committed a single misdeed, and even performed good deeds. What gave the Great Sage Sun the right to kill them?
The two wolf-headed demons refuse to leave until Sun Wukong gives them an answer. Otherwise, they will stay at the foot of Two Boundaries Mountain and become storytellers, ruining the reputation of the Victorious Fighting Buddha for generations, for a thousand years and more!

Meanwhile, a scheme devised by a mysterious deity of astonishing status is slowly unfolding, and Sun Wukong is at its very heart.
