On the seventh day of the Gray Tide outbreak, Chen Shi, the owner of a scrapyard, huddled inside his recycling depot and waited to die. Then he discovered he could "recycle": Gray Tide creatures were points, the ruins were treasure, and everything others threw away belonged to him. While others fled the apocalypse, he scavenged from it. While others feared the zombies, he collected them. While everyone thought he was just a junk dealer, he had already turned the entire apocalypse into his own business. Then, one day, an alert appeared on the recycling depot's screen: "Recycling authority fragment detected. Recycling program 'Cleaner' is cleaning up this planet." Chen Shi closed his ledger. "I recycled this Earth. Nobody's touching it."
