Seventeen That Year

During their final year of high school, seventeen-year-old Xia Ningchu met Pei Yusi in a narrow alley. He fell for her at first sight, and she was captivated by him. They made their way through a busy yet fulfilling senior year together, and their feelings slowly grew. After the college entrance exams, he had to return home to inherit the family business, while she left her hometown alone to pursue the things she loved. Years later, she joined a company he had founded just for her a few years earlier. When they met again, he was a successful businessman, ready to help her achieve her dreams. He told her, “No matter how many years pass, it will never be just you or just me. It will always be us.” For the rest of her life, she would be wrapped in his gentle love.
