Seven

I'm a nine-tailed fox.

When I was on the verge of death, Pei Xingzhi took me in.

He won many military honors and treated me with great care.

When he had achieved fame and success and sat securely on the throne,

he brought me before his late white-moonlight love and asked me to save her.

"Qiqi, you have nine lives. Give her one, and you'll have repaid me for saving yours."

But he didn't know.

My love for him was just an act.
