Yingying's Sweet Favor: Third Prince, Stop Chasing Me

[The wife-chasing crematorium + arrogant, sharp-tongued, unhinged male lead + coercive love + historical setting]

When they first met, he was a bright and gracious young man who rescued her from danger.

He doted on her beyond measure, until she became deeply entangled in him and could no longer pull herself away.

But who would have guessed that it had all been an illusion he created?

As it turned out, he was the esteemed Third Prince!

He humiliated her and kept her as his mistress, all to take revenge on her father, the prime minister.

When she learned the truth, she turned and walked away without hesitation. “Let’s just say I got bitten by a dog!”

He tore away every trace of his gentle disguise. In a black robe embroidered with dark gold serpents, he cut a murderous figure with an air of nobility.

He closed in on her step by step, gripped her slender waist, and pinned her against his chest. “Yingying, run again and I’ll chain you to the bed and make you attend to me every day!”

-

He deceived her body and her heart, all the while saying:

“I’m with you to get revenge on your father!”

Until he saw her embrace his imperial brother. She said:

“I’m sick to death of the Third Prince. Can’t he just die?”

He felt blood surge through him and a bitter sweetness rise in his throat. Blood spilled from the corner of his mouth. (He was so angry he spat blood.)

-

When he learned she was going to marry someone else, he rubbed the jade ring on his finger, his eyes brimming with murderous intent.

“Whoever dares marry her, I’ll kill him.”

-

She ran again and again, but there was no escaping him.

(The male lead can fly into a rage at any moment. He’s quite awful and very arrogant, with a mouth that’s the hardest part of him. The heroine suffers early on, but later she’ll turn the tables and make the male lead and everyone else pay. Both leads are sexually inexperienced. The romance is the main focus, with everything else secondary.)
