A Butterfly Retraces Its Steps

[Long-Planned Schemes + No One’s Innocent + Intense Push and Pull + Possessive Love] Also known as "Chen Fu’s Post-Sleep Thoughts", by Fu Die

Chen Fu’s farewell letter to Fu Die: “I have no parents, no wife, and no children. You’re my next of kin…”

Dark version:

Fu Die never fought for anything growing up, except that she developed an overwhelming desire to have him all to herself.

“If you like someone else, I’ll kill you.” Her eyes reddened as she spoke, almost as if pleading.

“Go ahead,” Chen Fu thought, perfectly willing. Even in death, he could only belong to her.

Chen Fu wasn’t a god. Human feelings weren’t that hard to understand. When she gazed into his eyes, she knew that one day he would become her loyal dog.

Her gaze on him was dark as she imagined leaving a ring of marks around Chen Fu’s neck, like a collar, so everyone would know he was kept at home.
