Jiaojiao Was Set to Marry, but the Mad Prince Seized Her for Himself

[Coercive romance + one-on-one pairing + melodrama + arduous pursuit to win her back + both leads are faithful to each other + happy ending]

Yan Mingzhao was ruthless and cruel, a wolf in human clothing.

He was gentle only with Si Mingyue, the daughter of the Marquis of Ding'an, and would have gladly laid his whole heart at her feet.

After the entire Marquis of Ding'an’s household was wiped out and she died, he seemed to become a different person.

Three years later, Si Mingyue reappeared, having lost her memories of him.

To uncover the truth behind her family’s massacre, she returned to the Prince of Yan’s residence with his deputy general.

Outsiders said the Prince of Yan had no interest in women, and that the women in his household had been forced on him by others.

She thought she could investigate her father’s death in peace at the Prince of Yan’s residence.

But after seeing her, he went almost mad.

He was domineering, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist and allowing her no chance to resist.

Terrified, she began to think of escaping.

But the man only grew more and more unhinged.

A year later, the Prince of Yan’s deputy general asked for her hand. To escape the prince, she agreed.

Wearing a phoenix crown and embroidered bridal robes, she climbed into the eight-man bridal sedan, thinking she could finally escape the Prince of Yan’s residence.

The instant she lifted her veil, Si Mingyue saw Yan Mingzhao’s striking face.

He gripped her chin, his eyes full of sorrow. “You want to marry him that badly? You want to leave me?”

Si Mingyue lowered her eyes and said each word distinctly: “My lord, I am not the woman you think I am. Please, let me go.”

Yan Mingzhao clenched his fist. “Let you go? Fine!”

She thought he had spared her, but soon the deputy general fell into trouble, and Si Mingyue had no choice but to appeal to the all-powerful Prince of Yan.

A cold glint flashed in Yan Mingzhao’s dark eyes, and a harsh smile curled his lips. His gaze burned with feverish madness as it settled on her. “Want to save him? Marry me!”
