The Human Comedy

I told Grandma to wait for me by the dormitory building entrance while I went back to my room to get something. "You little brat..." Before she could finish, I ran all the way up to the roof of the ten-story dormitory. Looking down, I saw her tiny figure waiting there impatiently. I wanted to curse this family with all the malice I could muster. Without a moment's hesitation, I leaped. Thud! As a scream rang out, a bright red flower bloomed on the ground. I fell to my death right in front of Grandma.
