A provincial public security bureau expert's case notes! Featuring 16 real cases, including a Northeastern gang, a corpse buried to guard a home, and a wife who changed her husband's face after killing him.
Criminal investigator Liu Xingchen has served in the police force for 15 years and solved over 1,000 cases. Many were supervised by the Ministry of Public Security and provincial public security bureaus, and he has received the Third-Class Individual Merit Award three times.
This book records the major cases he has personally handled since joining the force in 2007: from gangsters who killed their way to the top, to tomb raiders who buried corpses to guard their homes; from a wife who changed her dead husband's face to claim insurance money, to a seemingly perfect husband who claimed he loved both of his wives after killing them...
These crimes, described in the news as "extremely cruel in their methods, exceptionally vile in nature, and enormously damaging to society," reveal a hidden corner of the otherwise peaceful everyday world.
I'm so lucky to see this book for free on Tomato!!! I have always liked books and movies related to criminal investigation, but other works are either designed to attract attention and create climaxes, mixed with various bizarre plots or emotional scenes, or try to use various weird narrative methods to make up for the shortcomings of the plot. My brain and heart are tired from watching them. Teacher Liu's clean and serious articles about criminal investigation really attracted me. Pay tribute to the frontline police and wish you peace and success!!
Officer Liu Xingchen is so amazing, able to solve so many complicated cases! His notes showed me the intelligence and courage of police officers. The characters in the story have complex and diverse behaviors, and some criminals are really both hateful and pitiable. I recommend everyone to read this book and learn about the dark side of the real world.
Some cases are complicated and confusing, some are tender, strange, and exciting. At the same time, the author has popularized the relevant criminal law knowledge. This is the first set of criminal investigation books that I have bought, and it is well received!!
It's worth watching, but there should be cuts here. The first part only has 300,000 words.
Nice! The story has a strong sense of immersion and is not full of nonsense. I have also read the author's other books, which are very interesting and well written. I highly recommend.
This book is quite interesting, I like it.
Like it, it's tight
The storyline is exciting with its ups and downs!
