The Great Qin Celestial Palace, Jade Firmament Hall. Qin Chuan gazed down over the boundless immortal realms.
He had accomplished all the civil and military achievements expected of an Immortal Emperor: above, he ruled the Nine Heavens; below, the Nether Springs; across the Myriad Worlds, all lands were his domain. Demons and monsters, mortals and deities, immortals and Dao Ancestors alike were all his subjects.
“Your Majesty, the Empress has sent someone to invite you to tour the Jade Lake tonight and admire the golden moon.”
“Your Majesty, Consort Ye has sent someone to invite you to cultivate with her tonight and help her break through.”
“Your Majesty, Consort Lan has sent someone to invite you to explore the Great Dao of Water and Fire together tonight.”
“Your Majesty, Consort Dong has sent someone to invite you to drink and dance together tonight, to ease the pain of longing.”
... ...
Qin Chuan rubbed his lower back. “If my beloved consorts can help me achieve immortality, then what does it matter if I wear out this immortal body?”
Very nice. Awesome Plath.
Not bad, come on
It's too childish and the main character is immature. When the protagonist brought someone back, He Ding asked himself if he had anything else to say.
It's well written, and it's fun to read.
Apart from some minor flaws at the beginning, the writing in the back becomes more and more exciting. The story is pretty good.
