The Octopus Hero

[Wild imagination + science fiction + suspense + romance + action + deduction]

The usable resources on Blue Star were gradually running out. Nations slaughtered one another in the struggle for resources, unleashing horrific biological and nuclear wars. The soil, water, and other essentials were severely polluted. The land turned acidic, nuclear radiation saturated the water, and mutant species appeared one after another. Even so, the wars only grew more brutal, with thermonuclear conflicts breaking out across region after region. The entire world fell into decline, and humanity collapsed in different ways, as if it had returned to an age of barbaric slaughter.

A mysterious ark used the stream of faster-than-light particles produced by nuclear destruction to transmigrate ten years into the past. It saved Zhang Yu, a gifted student at Dongjiang University who had been framed, and had him injected with octopus serum. He unexpectedly fused with octopus cellular hormones and successfully awakened the Octopus System.

From then on, Zhang Yu was reborn with “three hearts and two memories” and “eight arms and nine brains.” Not only was he exceptionally intelligent, he also had a photographic memory.

More incredibly, he could “swallow clouds and breathe out mist,” change color and camouflage himself. With a body as fluid as water, he could slip through any opening, no matter how tiny.

On this planet, soon to become a wasteland, a generation’s savior, the “Octopus Hero,” was born to seek justice and truth.

He and his companions bravely shone their lights into dark, eerie corners, driving out the filthy rats that once terrified humanity but could only flee at the sight of light.

The darkest hour may come before dawn, but sunlight will eventually tear through the darkness, showering the earth with endless radiance.
