The Mysterious Female Corpse: A Village Romance

Ever since I could remember, I had lived in the house. When I was thirsty, I went to fetch water by myself, always when no one was around. When I was hungry, I tried wild grass or vegetables from the mountain. I would faint, then wake up lying there. Sometimes it took half a day; sometimes, a whole day.

As long as something tasted good and didn’t make me faint, I would not only draw it, but also label what it looked like, whether it tasted good or bad, and what happened to my body after I ate it.

Over time, I gathered a lot of food. The villagers didn’t eat any of it, so no one fought me for it.

That day, I tried a kind of fruit and fainted at once. I began dreaming again.
