Fucha Zhuying Reborn: Turning the Tide

This is a fanfiction based on the original novel Empresses in the Palace.

I am Consort Zheming, the Imperial Noble Consort from Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace.

I am Fuca Zhuying, the birth mother of the First Prince, Yonghuang.

In my previous life, I was betrothed to Hongli as a concubine.

Within a year, I bore him a son, and not long afterward, I became pregnant again.

My clan sister, Fuca Langhua, seemed gentle and virtuous on the surface,

but she too feared my Yonghuang.

Worried that Yonghuang would threaten the status of her second son, Yonglian,

she grew jealous and constantly set herself against me.

Later, when I was about to give birth,

Jinyuyan, a tribute maiden from the Yues, exploited my love of food

and slipped incompatible ingredients into my meals.

I knew nothing of medicine, and not long after, I suffered a difficult labor.

I gave birth to a baby girl, but neither she nor I survived.

As I lay dying, Hongli held my hand and wept uncontrollably.

After my death, I became the great love of his life, and he posthumously elevated me to Imperial Noble Consort Zheming.

In this new life, I will reclaim everything that belongs to me.

I will give birth to a daughter and raise my children to adulthood.

One day, when the emperor dies,

I will be the Empress Dowager ruling from behind the curtain!

P.S. Fans of Fuca Langhua should read with caution.

Ruyi's character has been changed somewhat, so fans of Ruyi, stay away.

Aisin Gioro Hongli is a hopeless romantic.
