A Moderately Prosperous Society

Starting out in the fields and villages of public service, he deals with one family matter after another. He takes on the challenge of transforming township factories and steps into a career in city government. He debates urban planning proposals and sets his sights on the pinnacle of public service and national strategy.

From setting the goal of a moderately prosperous society to achieving it in every respect, Chen Weiguo puts down roots at the grassroots level. He is the peacemaker who resolves neighborhood disputes, the planner behind urban and rural development, and the trailblazer who puts strategy into action.

How will he weather the challenges of grassroots public service, lead his fellow villagers onto the road to prosperity, and turn the blueprint of a moderately prosperous society into reality?
