For countless days and nights afterward, I kept thinking of Nanzhi, wondering whether, when she looked up, she could see the same moon I saw.
It took me a long time to understand:
Sharing a bed isn’t love.
A hug isn’t love.
A date isn’t love.
Sweet words aren’t love, either.
Love is knowing how flawed you are and still being willing to change together.
(Regular updates begin May 1. I’m looking forward to introducing Nanzhi, Li Bei, and all of you. I hope that as you gradually learn their story, everything in your own lives goes smoothly, too. Thank you for staying with me from here on.)
(My new novel is in the works. I’m trying a new style this time: danmei, a story about two boys. It will probably be quite a while before it’s ready, so please save a little anticipation for me. Thank you, everyone.)
Maybe I just like torture 🤔
