Intern Wen Momo is on her way home from work when an extremely overbearing drunk man forcibly takes her virginity right outside her door.
She takes emergency contraception within 72 hours, but a month later, fate plays a cruel joke on her:
She's pregnant!
Wen Momo resolves to have an abortion. After the anesthesia is administered, she lies still on the cold operating table, gradually losing consciousness.
The overbearing man, Gu Yusheng, storms in, wraps her in a blanket, and carries her away.
“How dare you abort my child? You've got some nerve...”
“I've already had the abortion. We're strangers, so please let me go and stop bothering me.”
This naive, sweet girl thinks she's already had the procedure.
A smile tugs at Gu Yusheng's lips. “This woman is rather interesting.”
He tosses her a business card, sparking a second wave of misunderstandings.
Wen Momo mistakes the overbearing CEO, Gu Yusheng, for his executive assistant.
“Then why do you want to marry me?”
“I'm sick, and right now you're the only medicine that can cure me. You're the best candidate.”
“I'm sorry, but I refuse,” Wen Momo says firmly.
