After being told that she would one day face a calamity that might threaten both her intelligence and her life, Qin Ke’er was kicked down the mountain by her senior brother to livestream fortune-telling and earn merit. He also entrusted her with the important task of tracking down their master and fellow senior brothers.
She happily headed down the mountain, only to realize she had probably been tricked. As if it weren’t enough that she’d somehow acquired a younger brother to raise, she also had debts left in her name by two damned adoptive parents!
She couldn’t even figure out who the real victim was, so she had no choice but to shoulder the responsibility.
What she didn’t expect was that whenever people came to her for a reading, love stories turned into crime cases, family matters took a dark turn, and crime cases became ghost stories. She seemed to have an uncanny knack for bizarre, incredible cases. She shot to internet fame, and people were always joking that she was bad luck and that staying away from her would keep them safe.
How could her short temper put up with that? Of course she had to give them a polite rebuttal! But a wage slave was still a wage slave. After livestreaming fortune-telling nonstop to make money, even she was eventually worn down by life.
A viewer seeking a reading asked, “Master Qin, does my crush like me? Has he been attracted to me for ages and secretly plotted to win me over?”
Qin Ke’er replied, “No. He’s after your mom…”
Another viewer asked, “Master Qin, is my online sweetheart a man or a woman? I don’t want to end up dating some hairy-footed guy online!”
Qin Ke’er replied, “No, she isn’t human.”
“Then what is she?”
“An animal.”
A viewer seeking a reading asked, “Master Qin, since you’re so amazing, tell me when I’ll be able to lie flat and get rich?”
Master Qin replied, “Right now. You’ll lie flat for the rest of your life while other people give you money. That’s getting rich by another name.”
Just as she finished speaking, a BMW sped past, and the viewer’s screams rang out without end…
