The author cleverly constructs the century-old dispute between the human race and the demon race, using the "Jiazi catastrophe" and the mysterious demarcation of the Tianhe Abyss as the grand background, giving the story a rich sense of history. The growth trajectory of the protagonist Wei Yang is a highlight. From his tragic life experience when his village was destroyed by the blood bat monster, to his journey to Lingjue Mountain to start his spiritual practice, his tenacity and determination for revenge are moving. The acquaintance with Wang Xuanzhi, Ji Xuan and other companions not only enriches the emotional level of the protagonist, but also shows the warm friendship during the practice.
