Beyond the Horizon: The Wanderer

[An original fictional world. Any similarities are pure nonsense. (The girl on the cover is the heroine.)] [Urban legends of all kinds / original anomalies / folk tales and strange anecdotes / new weird fiction / no overpowered protagonist / travel / everyday life / battles / multiple perspectives, though the heroine is the main viewpoint character] The founder of the website “Fifth Dimension” once asked this question: “Everyone, have you ever wondered what lies hidden beneath the surface of this world? You may think it sounds ridiculous, but I’m not fearmongering. The entire history of human evolution spans only ten thousand years, so how did we manage to do better than the dinosaurs, who evolved over hundreds of millions of years? Was it simply because we got lucky? Why, despite how advanced technology has become, are we still unable to explain the 1.2-billion-year gap in the Cambrian period...” When conspiracy theorists turn out to be right, and the urban legends circulating online may have happened right beside you, without your ever knowing... This is the world you know best, and also the world you know least. It is a world where humans and anomalies coexist. And in this world, a girl named Le Bolinsi roams from place to place, searching for the true meaning of freedom. She lowered her hood and looked back with a smile. “That’s right. As you can see, I’m a wanderer.”
