Spring in the Forbidden Court

Fifteen years ago, my imperial mother left me in a sea of flames to save a three-year-old child.

Ten years ago, I met that child again. She had grown into a lovely young girl with a face like a carved doll. She lowered her head and asked if I was cold. I bit her like a madman, then got scolded for it.

Now that girl has gotten herself into trouble and wants me to help her escape the palace. So I tricked her into going to her father's home and made her my pawn.

It was only much later that Wei Xingruo understood: she had saved her at first because she would love her for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, it was far too late. She would have to cross mountains and rivers beyond number to make amends.

Su Jinhe says: Stay away from yanderes and cherish your life.
