Three Princes Vie for the Throne

[Love and hate, political intrigue, pure love, amnesia, bad ending, happy ending.]

This story has two female leads, each with her own male lead. Of course, if you’re sharp enough, you might also spot the little surprise the author has hidden away. I won’t say more; those who know, know.

Female assassin: “I want to be a good person too, but I’ve already gone too far to turn back.”

Female physician: “I’ve saved many people in my life, but I couldn’t save her.”

Third Prince: “I hope the realm will be at peace, with no more displaced refugees.”

Second Prince: “All I want is for her to live happily and safely, and grow old with me alone.”

Crown Prince of the Dachang Kingdom: “I want this realm to obey no one’s orders but mine.”

Chancellor of the Dachang Kingdom: “If you don’t fight for it, you’ll die. Remember, you are not only your father’s child, you are also a descendant of the Wang clan.”

Empress of Dachang: “Your Majesty, you mustn’t disappoint the old ministers!”

Empress of Dashun: “You killed the person I loved for the throne. Then I’ll make the child we had together the new ruler of this dynasty.”

Emperor of Dashun: “At least for now, she is by my side. Who she loves doesn’t matter.”

Crown Prince of Dashun: “The throne is mine. It has to be mine.”

Second Prince of Dashun: “Since Mother doesn’t love me and won’t let me live, I’ll send you and my dear older brother to your deaths together.”
