Where do we come from and where will we go? To put it simply, existence and destruction, life and death are eternal questions for human beings. The scale of questions may be large or small, and the subject of discussion in this book is the universe. It can be said that a group of people in the world who are quite smart and have quite high "death anxiety" have done something to discuss the "death" of the universe we live in now. Even if the moment and method of the imminent destruction of the universe that they can see now are far away from now, discovering a future in which the human race may be destroyed may bring some peace to people, rather than sadness, because we have invested in some kind of "eternity", even if eternity itself is limited.
