Notes on Defying Fate

(Two-Way Transmigration) (Cultivation in a Cthulhu World) (Ensemble Cast) (No System)

A bizarre journey, and two worlds that keep trading places.

Chen Jiu saw through the illusion in a desert of another world.

But the truth he reached was that gods surrounded him, and his life hung by a thread.

After traveling ten thousand miles on the path of cultivation,

he climbed onto the gods’ dining table.

The gods’ breath has tainted the spiritual energy. Use too much, and you’ll descend into madness.

Current story:

Beyond the quicksand, he learns the cultivation method of the Seven Slips of Gui Water.

In White Elephant Village, he encounters Wuxin, who has stolen the power of the gods.

On Inverted Mountain, he masters the method of nourishing the mind and becomes peerless.

In this other world, countless nations and sects await, and treasures from across the land are there for the taking.

In this world,

conflicts between nations flare up once more.

The Great Xia Wall guards the nation, repels invaders, and fights the gods.

The wall stretches as far as five thousand years of history.

The city within the wall is the Great Xia people’s fortress.

(The outline runs for more than five hundred chapters, so settle in and enjoy!)

(A story about ordinary people. Not a pure power fantasy, and not a System novel.)
