The One and Only Emperor Through the Ages

Director Li Zheng transmigrates to ancient times, where his father, the Great General Zhenyuan, has just lost a frontier pass.

Wang Teng, a Grand Secretary of the Cabinet and his future father-in-law, demands that he break off the engagement.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yucheng, the son of the richest man in the realm, wants to take Li Zheng’s fiancée as his concubine.

Faced with the arrogant and domineering Xiao Yucheng, Li Zheng beats him to death on the spot!

When the richest man arrives with his men, furious at the news, Li Zheng cries, “Father-in-law, I did what you told me to! Save me!”

As everyone falls into chaos, Li Zheng slips away with his young wife and reports the matter to the Imperial City Bureau.

The richest man, a man with no official power but an overwhelming network of connections, is beaten half to death and thrown into prison.

The powerful nobles connected to him are enraged and swear to kill Li Zheng.

Yet that very day, in the height of summer, Li Zheng makes ice and presents it to the favored consort!

He also brings cosmetics into the imperial palace, winning the affection of the princesses and other peerless beauties.

Three days later, a minister of the chancellor arrives at Li Zheng’s home with a band of men.

The most favored consort declares, “Let’s see who dares lay a hand on Li Zheng!”

The Grand Princess adds, “You dare touch someone who belongs to me?”
