This book is a martial arts novel written by Lu Shi'e, a novelist in the Republic of China. Lu Shi'e (1878-1944) was born in Qingpu, Jiangsu (now part of Shanghai). The name is Shouxian, the courtesy name is Yunxiang, and the nickname is Shi'e. In his early years, he studied medicine with the famous doctor Tang Chunzhai, and later practiced medicine in Shanghai. While practicing medicine, he wrote novels. He wrote more than a hundred novels in his life. His martial arts novels and popular novels were quite influential, and he enjoyed a high reputation in the history of Chinese literature. After careful planning and production, our company has launched the "Collection of Martial Arts Novels of the Republic of China·Lu Shi'e Volume" on a large scale, with a total of 13 volumes, and this is one of them.
The novel is set in the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty. It tells the story of the old man Bai Yuan who taught flying swordsmanship to knights such as Zhou Xun, Lu Minzhan, Liao Yinshang, Lu Yuan, Bai Taiguan and Cao Renfu. Lu Minzhan also accepted Gan Fengchi as his disciple, and Princess Guangci of Chongzhen accepted Lu Siniang as his disciple. The eight heroes were in trouble on Fengwei Island when a black dragon capsized their ship in the sea. Three years later, they returned to Changbai Mountain and started a new adventure.
