Synopsis

[Alternating First- and Third-Person Perspectives] [The Conspiracies Are No Joke] [Every Character Is Carefully Developed] [Power Struggles] [Life in the Apocalypse] [Abilities Cannot Be Trained] [Plenty of Mockery of Mindless Power Fantasies] The writing is extremely realistic, and even the supernatural abilities are explained through physics. Whenever a chapter features an outrageous line of dialogue from someone being brainless, a later passage will echo it. The cause of the protagonist’s depression in Chapter One runs throughout the story. In Chapter Three, Wang Wei saves the protagonist and his wife and is willing to become their subordinate; Chapter Twenty-Eight confirms this. In Chapter Four, Wang Wei says something absurd: “There’s plenty to eat.” His recollection of it in Chapter Fifty creates an echo. The story features “Severing the Link Between Heaven and Earth,” yet it touches on cutting-edge physics. Every detail can echo something else. The writing style is relatively classical. This isn’t a feel-good, adrenaline-fueled story. General readers might want to test the waters with the “Puppet on a String” chapters. It outclasses most web novels. I wrote this apocalyptic story with the mindset of writing science fiction, and it contains many mysteries. I hope readers can get used to them, because these mysteries are key to the plot twists. Whenever something unexpected happens, I’ll do my best to make it feel as though it made sense all along. Of course, every character has their own version of the truth.

Any Apocalyptic Superpower Novels Like "Wasteland Era"?

Looking for books similar to Wasteland Epoch. I only read a few chapters of City of Beastfolk and didn't enjoy it. I only want this kind of story, with a fast pace and a good plot.
