Great Tang: Li Changqing, Supreme General of the Heavenly Strategies

Li Changqing, a transmigrator, arrives in the Tang dynasty and becomes Li Yuan’s adopted son. Impressed by his talent and ability, Li Yuan specially appoints him as the Grand General of the Heavenly Strategies, whose might shakes the realm. Crown Prince Li Jiancheng and Prince of Qi Li Yuanji, unwilling to lose their power, plot to launch the Xuanwu Gate Incident and eliminate Li Changqing, only to suffer a fatal counterattack and lose their heads.

With 200,000 Turkic cavalry bearing down on Chang’an, Li Shimin is forced to sign a humiliating treaty on the banks of the Wei River. At this critical moment, Li Changqing leads 80,000 elite White-Robed troops on a swift march to defend the emperor. After fighting their way through 3,000 li, they turn the tide and crush the Turkic army. From then on, all lands south of the desert belong to the Tang, and the Turks no longer dare covet the Central Plains. Their dream of riding south to graze their horses is utterly shattered.

Through his illustrious military achievements, Li Changqing shakes the realm and is made Prince of Equal Rank, ruling the empire alongside Li Shimin and joining him in building the glorious golden age of the Tang dynasty.
