Yu Yao is an NPC in an apocalyptic otome game. On the first day of the apocalypse, he awakens as an NPC.
According to the game's setting, a disease known as “Zombie Disease” appears in an otherwise ordinary world. Once infected, people gain immense attack power but lose their minds, attacking the survivors.
Anyone attacked by someone infected with “Zombie Disease” has only one possible fate: becoming infected themselves.
Yu Yao and several of his friends are supposed to meet the female protagonist, who will try to win them over. To his astonishment, Yu Yao discovers that he can hear the female protagonist communicating with the so-called System. If she successfully wins them over in the game, she receives a cash reward in real life...
