New Body: New Body Invasion

By 2372, humanity's development of mechanical AI had fully matured. AI gradually developed independent consciousness, initially providing fire support in human civil wars and taking part in the assembly-line production of weapons.

By 2465, mechanical AI had begun to escape human control and developed the ability to manufacture itself. Relying on its powerful “unblocked communications” system, it rapidly expanded its military strength and declared war on humanity for the first time. It defeated human forces and occupied Amberley City, then used its highly efficient communications to expand rapidly, conquering the areas around the city one after another. With no other choice, humanity in the northeast retreated south and established the Tucker Line, where large and small battles with mechanical civilization broke out every day.

In 2754, Amberley City's resources ran dry, and the machines moved north, establishing Redwood City as the new capital of mechanical civilization. Meanwhile, infighting among humans declined, and they signed a peace agreement, uniting all of human civilization under a single faction and establishing the capital at Jingping. The three-hundred-year human civil war was temporarily brought to a halt.

By 3098, mechanical civilization had advanced rapidly. After a long struggle with humanity for iron ore, it occupied the northeastern region of the entire continent. By then, humanity and the machines had reached a stalemate.

The story begins in 3098 and follows Zhao Tian, the leader of a reconnaissance squad in the 26th Reconnaissance Regiment. During a battle to seize territory from the machines, a new alien life-form takes the opportunity to invade and throws the battle into chaos.
