Cao Wei is delivering a letter to his senior sister when a chance encounter leads him to learn of a great treasure in the martial world: the Eight Trigrams Formation. He immediately joins the scramble for the treasure and obtains a fragment of its map, the Dragon Flight Diagram. From then on, he is swept into the turmoil of the martial world.
Dragon Flight, Heaven's Cover, Bird's Flight, Cloud's Droop, Tiger's Wings, Wind's Rise, Serpent's Coil, and Earth's Load. Legend says that gathering the power of all eight diagrams grants the ability to break the boundaries between heaven and earth, win the favor of a sacred beast, and live as long as heaven and earth, shining as brightly as the sun and moon.
At first, Cao Wei thinks this is an ordinary martial world. But as he ventures deeper, he discovers that the world is not quite what he thought. Demons, ghosts, and monsters appear one after another. What is to become of humanity?
