It tells the story of Guiping and Afa from remote mountainous areas in 1978, who opposed their parents' feudal ideas, studied hard, and continued to grow under conditions of hardship and poverty. Even overcoming the crisis of death, we know and love each other. But the reality is cruel. In the end, Afa walked out of the mountain and went to university, but Guiping stayed there forever.
