The Eastern Wasteland Continent. The Jade Dragon Dynasty fell into decline after a bloody war with the demons. Seizing the opportunity, the Grand Preceptor colluded with the demons and fomented chaos, throwing the dynasty into political turmoil.
Local warlords carved up the land, the powerful battled for supremacy, and killing raged without end. Beneath the Martial Emperor realm, all were mere ants.
The young Li Feng was born into a minor clan in a remote mountain region, caught in the midst of this chaos. He awakened a useless martial soul and endured constant bullying from the other clan members.
While fleeing pursuers one day, he stumbled into the Thunder Wasteland Forest and was ravaged by endless thunderstorms... There, he awakened two supreme treasures from beyond the heavens that his father had left within his soul: the Devouring Martial Soul and the Hongmeng Fortune Art. He also met the woman who would be the love of his life.
Later, a great upheaval struck his clan, forcing him to leave. In the turbulent, perilous world of martial cultivation, he endured countless battles to the death, fighting to survive and grow stronger. He matched wits and traded blows with foes countless times more powerful than himself, comprehended the Heavenly Dao amid life-and-death struggles, and grew ever stronger.
