Spring at Dusk

A woman who teaches in a remote rural village has an elegant bearing and exceptional beauty. Everyone says her past must have been extraordinary.

Yet six years ago, a baseless accusation of rebellion ruined her name. The renowned young general became a fugitive, driven out of the capital and exiled to face assassination.

When her vengeance was complete and her wish fulfilled, she arranged a safe path forward for everyone, but never sought one for herself.

But how could those who followed her, stayed by her side, and loved her in secret ever let her go?
