The Proud Young Lord’s Favorite Maid

When she was ten, her family fell on hard times. To pay for her sick younger brother’s treatment, they sold her as a maid to Prince Rui’s residence. At first, life was peaceful enough: she only had to save up 320 taels to buy back her freedom. One day, at the old madam’s command, she delivered pastries made by the old master to the second young lord, who lived outside Prince Rui’s residence. Little did she know that everything would change that night.
