The first time Qin Zijin met Gu Ruxu, it was in a small supermarket at the intersection not far from the city's No. 1 Middle School. It was raining. She went in to take shelter from the rain and saw Gu Ruxu sitting behind the checkout counter with his head down writing homework.
When the military training started, Gu Ruxu saved him from heat stroke again.
At the opening ceremony, Qin Zijin was even more convinced that Gu Rushu was a true academic master when he saw the cheerful girl on stage to receive her award speech.
