The Supreme One Slays Evil

In the time of the Yellow Emperor, Lao Jun descended to become a teacher, taking the name Guang Chengzi. He drew wisdom from yin and yang and composed the Daoist Precepts and the Daoist Scripture. Among his disciples was Chu Youxuan, who often attended him and was deeply favored. Lao Jun taught him the arts of preserving life and cultivating one's nature, as well as driving out evil and vanquishing wickedness. Before ascending to heaven, he entrusted Chu Youxuan with the Immortal-Slaying Sword and the Heaven-Flipping Seal, instructing him to continue upholding justice and eliminating evil. Chu Youxuan lived up to his expectations, slaying so many demons and ghosts that they trembled at the mere mention of his name. But later, the gates of heaven closed and countless immortals who had attained the Dao were summoned back. With the fate of the world at heart, he chose to seal away his powers and continue wandering among mortals. Strange and wondrous events were never in short supply during this time. Let me tell them to you one by one.
