Just a Low-Level Employee? Get to Know the Company's Lifeline

Armed with the ultimate game development System, Chen An transmigrates to a parallel world where the gaming industry is far behind and becomes a junior employee in the R&D department of Yaowan Tech, a small game development company.

To accumulate enough emotional points to activate the System, Chen An draws on his memories and handles every step of development himself, creating Sheep a Sheep, which takes the internet by storm.

Yaowan Tech rides the wave to become the hottest game development company on the internet.

After successfully activating the System, Chen An is ready to make his big move. But instead of a reward, what awaits him is a layoff notice.

When he demands an explanation, his boss sneers:

“You’re just a junior employee. Don’t tell me you actually think you’re somebody. You dare come here and question me? Do you really think the company can’t run without you?

“This is the hottest game development company around. We can do without one little employee like you. Now get the hell out!”

Just a junior employee, huh?

I’ll show you what happens when you cut the company’s lifeblood!

Furious, Chen An turns around and joins a rival company.

One after another, games that drive players crazy and scare them witless hit the market: Digging to Survive, Cat Mario, Silent Hill…

The rival company, once on the verge of bankruptcy, takes off overnight.

Without Chen An, Yaowan Tech proves to be a flash in the pan. Its popularity wanes by the day until it, too, is on the verge of bankruptcy. Only then does the boss realize how important Chen An was and beg him to forgive him.

But Chen An won’t give him the time of day.

“Didn’t you say I was just a junior employee? Now you’re the one begging me. Too late!”
