Synopsis

The protagonist is naturally absent-minded, perhaps even a little devilish. He has the temperament of an old man, but he isn't actually an old man. I tend to write characters however I feel as the story develops, so his personality in the early and later parts depends mainly on the story. His personality traits are just labels that I try to write toward, but he won't always fit them. The protagonist transmigrates. Before that, he was a wage slave in his thirties, somewhere between thirty and forty. After transmigrating to Aotu World, he returns to being seventeen.

He was planning to go celebrate his friend's birthday, but on the way there, the consciousness of Heaven, too lazy to even give him a proper death, threw him out of his world. His friend was the male lead of that world, and his brother had secretly been in love with him all along and planned to confess that very day. He was supposed to suddenly die of a heart attack that day and become the male lead's White Moonlight, setting up the later plot where the male lead finds a female lead to replace him. But due to a mishap, he didn't die. The other party at least had a little conscience and didn't erase him outright, instead sending him to another world called Aotu World.

The rules here seem a little different, but our protagonist says:

“They're all good kids, really.”

That's what he thought after another child helped him when someone stole his wallet.

Is There No One Left in the Current World of Aotu Who Can Actually Fight?

Looking for books like *[Aotu World] Is It Too Late to Apologize to Lei Shi?*. The Aotu World contest in my mind is so brutal. Do I really need a whole bunch of otome characters showing up? I understand friendships and romance developing, but some books have characters falling in love for no reason. Honestly, I just can't...
