A Vast World

I'm a guy who absolutely loves traditional martial arts. There's a saying: "Jin Yong laid down his pen and Gu Long passed away; only Heroic Aspirations remains in the jianghu." I've waited year after year for Heroic Aspirations to finish. Even my family knows that Master Sun, nicknamed "Wild Dog," has yet to complete it. One day I said, why not write a wuxia story myself? Fewer people may read them these days, but doesn't everyone have their own great hero in their heart? My writing may not be very good, but there's always a voice inside me roaring: If you're going to do it, do it now. If you don't do some things today, you may never do them in your whole life. So I picked up my pen and began. A tribute to Heroic Aspirations! A tribute to wuxia!

The story takes place during the Yongle era. It has multiple protagonists and plotlines, and spans many years. Its major arcs include suppressing pirates in the East China Sea, an envoy mission to Japan, crushing an evil cult, sending troops to pacify Annam, and sailing far across the western seas. The finished work is expected to be around two million words. In short, it's hard to explain in just a sentence or two. I think this story will be a lot of fun, and I'll do my best to write it well. I hope it brings everyone plenty of joy!
