After the apocalypse broke out, Earth was transformed beyond recognition. As time passed, four major factions emerged, along with several smaller unaffiliated groups.
The four major factions are the Dragon Nation Army, the Scientific Research Institute, the High-Tier Zombies, and the Mercenary Alliance. They are not listed in order of strength.
Killing a Tier 2 zombie or higher yields an energy crystal, also known as a core.
When humans consume energy crystals, their abilities are enhanced and they can evolve, gaining incredible powers!
Zombies can feed on humans, corpse beasts, and even other zombies, achieving extraordinary evolution. Once they reach the higher tiers, they can even begin to develop intelligence.
But the protagonist is the only one with a System!
