The Lotus Lantern: The True Lord Turns Out to Be Forcing His Love on Me

Ao Cunxin: My lord, what crime did my elder brother commit that you would imprison him in your divine palace?

Yang Jian: I hear you're marrying the Second Prince of the Yushui River on the fifteenth of next month?

Cunxin: What does that have to do with my elder brother being detained?

Yang Jian: Everyone in the immortal realm knows we used to be husband and wife. Now you're getting married. What am I supposed to do?

Cunxin thought: If one of two divorced spouses marries first, the other is bound to become the subject of gossip. Yang Jian is now the Heavenly God of Justice, while I'm his obscure ex-wife. If I marry first, he'll lose face. Besides, he's infatuated with Chang'e, and he certainly won't let her become the talk of the immortals, either.

Cunxin nodded. “My lord, I understand what you mean. Little Dragon will change the date as soon as I get back. As for my elder brother...”

Yang Jian: “Take him home with you in a moment.”

After returning to the West Sea, Cunxin conspired with the Dragon King and Queen, and they decided to hold the wedding quietly on the eighteenth of next month.
