“Did the Little Prince of Nanchen really die during that bone-scraping punishment?”

“Beauty bones are a rare sight in this world. Some have bones but no skin, while others have skin but no bones. Yet most people are shallow, seeing only the skin and not the bones.”

The punishment lasted three whole hours, yet he never cried out, and he refused to regret his choice. Zhou Shengchen became famous throughout the land for his beauty bones, but Liu Zixing insisted on scraping them away.

“Did Cui Shiyi, the Crown Prince's consort, really leap from the city tower and die?”

“That night, when they carried out the bone-scraping punishment, he didn't make a sound. She was in so much pain she couldn't sleep. Were they scraping his bones, or cutting out her heart?”

Liu Zixing scraped his master's bones and put an end to any chance he and Shiyi might have had.

“In this life, I, Chen,

wronged no one under heaven,

except for Eleven.”

“Zhou Shengchen, I've come to marry you.”
