Synopsis

My name is Cheng Yun, and I am guilty because I took part in an illegal game where death was the price of losing.

I had been confined to the "Mirror Room" ever since I was four. A hazy memory had always lingered in my mind, so when an accident gave me the chance to escape, the figure from that memory appeared, drawing me toward a game.

But as the game went on, every incident pointed back to the "Mirror Room" and the man who called himself my "father."

The questions surrounding everything slowly came to light. My hazy memories grew clearer and clearer: the cause of my mother's death, my father's choice, my companions' betrayal. As someone who claims to be human, where do I go from here?

Now I will begin to recount my crimes. You will be my final judges, and you will pass sentence upon me.

New Writers, Come On In

It's so upsetting to keep seeing the stats barely change. The reader count doesn't go up at all, and there isn't a single comment. Hardly anyone reads the whole book, and by the last chapter, almost no one is still reading. New authors, let's support one another.
