Legends of the Gods and Immortals Across the Heavens

They say the heavens are round and the earth is square, and the void is boundless.

The universe within the void is infinitely vast. The ancients were telling the truth when they said that heaven and earth have no boundaries.

Yet compared with the workings of nature, mortals are no more than ants. Confined to a corner and gazing at the sky from the bottom of a well, they assume the world is just as they see it, believing they have already grasped the secrets of creation.

Such is the idea behind the saying, “The heavens look down upon the lower realms, while heroes battle within a speck of dust.”

Esteemed readers, today I shall tell you a tale of divine powers made manifest and immortals appearing in the mortal world. As I write, tears blur my vision and I scarcely know what I am saying. I can only hope to bring you all a smile.
