In Northeast China, Dealing with the Five Immortals

In the Changbai Mountains of Northeast China, the Five Immortals appear in the mortal world. Chang Yanci carries his family’s legacy of spirit beings and happens to meet Wang Lingshuang, who can see through the yin and yang realms. Strange happenings in the old forests, eerie tales from deserted villages: foxes, weasels, hedgehogs, snakes, and rats, each with their own nature. Benevolent immortals protect the people, while wild spirits wreak havoc among them. Cause and effect intertwine across generations, never coming to an end. They travel across the frigid mountains to unravel the mystery, never realizing they have long been caught in a scheme laid by the immortals.
