The Wilds of Nanhe

[Entertainment industry + variety show + livestream + both leads are virgins + childhood sweethearts]

Main couple: He Haonan and Lin He

Breaking news: everyone thought they had nothing to do with each other, but they’d actually been childhood sweethearts, growing up together.

On a variety show, she appeared as a guest. She cooked while he helped out. They played basketball together in the courtyard and went to feed the chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep.

The two looked so good together that when the episode aired, viewers couldn’t help shipping them. Who knew they’d end up shipping a real couple!

During a public livestream, Lin He smiled and introduced him to everyone. “My boyfriend, He Haonan.” He Haonan smiled, his eyes fixed on her. Hearing her words, he replied in a gentle, quiet voice, “My girlfriend, Lin He.”

At a special event dedicated to Shige Qingtian, Lin He appeared on the screen at the very end.

Standing onstage with a microphone, He Haonan spoke to her earnestly. “Lin He, I love you. Let’s stay together forever.”

Tears glistened in Lin He’s eyes as she smiled and softly replied, “I love you too.”

Their loving gazes crossed the whole venue. In Lin He and He Haonan’s eyes, there was no one but each other.

“The wind has its promise, the flowers may disappoint, but year after year, we’ll never let each other down. Nan and He, what joy to have met.”
