I'm Just an Alchemist

Mo Ran, a decent young man from the twenty-first century, transmigrates to a continent of cultivators. Staring at the pill furnace before him, he fumes:

I'm a decent young man from the modern age, and you expect me to make pills? What is this, feudal superstition?

But after awakening the Pill God System, Mo Ran finds himself loving every bit of it. Wherever he goes, people consider him a genius.

He thinks he'll simply rely on the System, refine pills, and climb to the top of the world.

Then the world turns upside down. The Xiang Clan rises, seizes his family estate, and kills his father and brother, leaving him to wander far from home.

As if things couldn't get worse, he encounters an unreliable sect while on the road. Thanks to the Pill God System, he barely qualifies as a member of the third class.

But his family and friends can only be fifth-class citizens. After suffering these blows, he resolves to change a world controlled by aristocratic clans and break down the hierarchy that divides people.

Relying on the Pill God System, he brings the dilapidated sect back into the public eye and is later appointed the Lord of Mo City.

Step by step, he rises to the pinnacle of power.

He exiles the aristocratic clans, separates the Immortal Realm from the Human Realm, and ultimately creates a nation for ordinary people in the cultivation world. He becomes the sole emperor of that empire.
