Harry Potter: Reborn and Coasting in Hufflepuff

My aimless life ended on the day the Chosen One fought Voldemort. I died in the most unremarkable way possible, from a Dementor's Kiss. What a disgrace to my former status as a Ravenclaw overachiever.

Reborn at eleven, I decided to… carry on being aimless! I would be a Chaotic Neutral slacker at Hogwarts, but somehow I became the most incomplete soul in the wizarding world.

Well, I was probably just an antisocial loner who never socialized, couldn't summon a Patronus, and had even made my maple wand stop working by slacking off.

Until I discovered that

My headmaster, Dumbledore, thought I might become the first Dark wizard in Hufflepuff history;

A brash young voice told me to stay alive;

And everyone in my house saw me as the pride of Hufflepuff.

“The Ministry of Magic hereby awards the Order of Merlin, First Class, to the brilliant witch, Miss Annie, a guardian who wielded her wand like a sword to defeat the darkness. The spells she invented have also kept Cauldron Cakes fragrant throughout the wizarding world for a hundred years. Her courage and ingenuity will forever be engraved in our memories and upon our taste buds.”, The Daily Prophet

◆ A story of rebirth and redemption, staying as close to the original as possible. This is a witch's coming-of-age story. Everyone has their own problems, and no one steals the spotlight from Harry or any other character.

◆ “True heroineism means choosing to change things even after recognizing the cruelty of fate.”
